MIDPOINT REFLECTION
First of all before internship started I expected to work at the big office with a lot of workers doing same task every single day. However when I started internship I had a variety of tasks to choose from and I could concentrate on what interest me the most. The office environment have also satisfied my expectations because I am working at the small office with only 4-5 people and that greatly contributes to my working ability because I am not under pressure.
One useful skill I acquired from the internship is time management and that skill helped me to increase my working pace especially on computers.
My relationship with mentor and the co-workers is very good in both social and professional levels, all workers in the office always pay attention to me and available when I need their help.
I have also matured in professional levels as a result of adult interaction. Working with adults have increased my networking skills and adequate and I think those skills will be improving thorough out the rest of next internship semester.
One challenge I had at the begging is not understanding the given task because I tried not to ask to many questions and work independently, therefore I have failed to complete the task properly. Later I have learned that is very useful to ask for help from mentor and co-workers because that not only helps me to understand the given task but it also gives me time to start working on a new one.

Four Weeks Into Internship
Since I only work with only four workers at the office I usually get a variety of different tasks.
Some things I work on the most is getting information about different nonprofit organizations in New York and sometimes other states.
Another thing I spend most of time working on is going through all the documentaries and photos and publishing the best ones in the website and other blogs. The biggest challenge with that is there is the vast amount of documentaries and photos, sometimes that makes it hard to choose which things to be published.
The most memorable moments at my internship is when I look through all the documentaries and see what a tremendous effect Change for Kids makes on lives of unprivileged children.
The only uncomfortable part of my internship is its location, since the site is in Manhattan it takes about an hour for me to get there and 1/2 to get back home, however I am slowly getting used to it and in future I probably wont even notice the traveling time.
I'm currently working 3 times a week because I am taking college now class at Kingsborough College on Thursdays and therefore instead of working for three hours I work an hour more.
My four weeks of internship were different that first two because at first it took me sometime to get use to working environment and understand my tasks. However, now I feel comfortable working in the office and I feel confident talking to my mentor and other co-workers.

My First Two Weeks
I work at the non-profit organization called change for kids (CFK) which is located in Broadway, Manhattan. My mentors name is Collin Smith and he is the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) of the company, he is a very friendly and funny guy who always explains me what to do. I also work with Mike Quinzo who is the second head officer of the company, like Collin he also a very friendly and he gives me tasks that are involved with the networking and media. This first 2 weeks at my internship site have really helped me to build my confidence and improve my time management. Right now my goal is to finish the new website that me and workers are trying to post this summer and I am really exited to see how it will come up. Over all my experience at Change For Kids exceeded my first expectations and I love working here till the rest of the year.
3 Questions about internship:
1. How will I be able to use my current internship skills in my future Carrier?
2. What new skills I can learn at my internship?
3. Can I leave my internship if my mentor is not in there?
